Description
Rozel Valley and Rozel Manor with Lady Guthrie and Emma Lempriere Johnson.
We begin with the "Hidden Gardens of La Chaire, set up by one of the founder members of Kew Gardens. As we explore this valley, its beauty explains why this Micro climate lends itself to such exceptional growth and varieties of horticulture. Visiting the first of our private gardens (of Lady Guthrie), we continue by passing Edmund Blampied's birth place (the illustrator to the Peter Pan book).
Then on to Rozel Manor gardens and private chapel, crossing to the farm to view young Jersey cows. Then back passing the Dolmen of La Couperon. May is the exceptional time to view our "Handkerchief Tree"
